I am pleased to present the December edition of The Orthopod!
First, let me start by congratulating Dr. Steven Heithoff, the 2016-2017 AOAO President, and the newly appointed Executive Committee. Dr. Heithoff’s President’s Message can be found alongside Dr. Vander Lugt’s Executive Director Message. We have an exciting year ahead.
The CME Update section provides a recap of the 75th Annual Meeting, as well as a preview of the upcoming Post Graduate Seminar, held from April 28-30, 2017, in Nashville, TN. Please make every effort to attend.
The Membership News section contains information about members in the news, as well as updates from the AOAO Foundation and Sports and Pediatric Sections.
This month we also highlight the Orthopedic Residency Program at Mountain View Regional Medical Center/Las Cruces Orthopaedic Associates.
This edition is rounded out with an update from the RAOAO as well as a very unique case report of an isolated acromion fracture.
I hope you enjoy this December issue and wish you each a Happy Holiday and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
