Dr. Kristin Cola is a board certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon. She is currently in practice at Pediatric Orthopedics of Southwest Florida, where she started practice in the fall of 2019. Born and raised in NE Ohio, she attended medical school at Ohio University and then went on to complete her five-year orthopedic surgery residency at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. During her time as a resident, she served as a leader in many rolls, including president of the resident council and chief resident.
She pursued her pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship in Seattle, Washington, at the University of Washington. There, she focused on the surgical and non-surgical treatment of the numerous conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system in children, including clubfoot, scoliosis, and spinal deformity.
When she is not working, Dr. Cola enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, two daughters, and their dog, Mutsy.
