Accreditation and Credit Designation Information

The American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics designates this program for a maximum of 45.5 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Continuing Nursing Education
The maximum number of hours awarded for this Continuing Nursing Education activity is 19.5 contact hours. Pharmacotherapy contact hours for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses will be designated on your certificate.

Continuing Physician Assistant Education

 Postgraduate Institute for Medicine has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 19.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
