As of March 16, 2020 the Annual Spring Meeting has been cancelled.

Greetings! Please join us for the AOAO’s 60th Annual Spring Meeting at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa from April 23 – 25.  The theme of this year’s meeting is “Wild West: Orthopedic Technologies on the Horizon”.  The educational offerings will focus on the latest in techniques and technologies.  Our Program will highlight methods to improve outcomes by showcasing “What’s New” in Orthopedics.

In addition to the lecture format, this meeting will provide enhanced participant involvement.  Attendees may become part of the presentation by contributing to lively discussion as we explore what is new, but more importantly, what is worthwhile as we work to improve orthopedic care and outcomes for our patients.

We will also offer the 2nd Annual Osteopathic Orthopedic Board Review.  The Review has been designed for those sitting for the AOBOS initial certification or re-certification examinations.  Feedback from last year’s course was overwhelmingly positive so for this year the Review has been expanded to a full day, Wednesday, April 22.  The Review is the only osteopathic review available for the AOBOS examination.

Also, be sure to check out the AOAO Skills Lab, being held on Friday, April 24, at nearby Touro University, Nevada.  The focus of the lab is shoulder and sports.  Please join us to learn new skills or simply build upon those you have.

Lastly, I wish to thank Dr. Blackburn, the CME Committee and the session moderators for preparing an outstanding Program!  AOAO Meetings are unlike any others in Orthopedics.  These individuals have worked diligently to provide cutting edge education with hands-on learning and professional development in one place and with collegial camaraderie found no where else and truly unique.

Hope to see you in Las Vegas,

Edward J. Armbruster, DO, FAOAO
