I was graduated from medical school 33 years ago. Over the course of my career, I have seen many innovations in orthopaedic surgery. Some have been tremendous and have redefined clinical care, while others have not worked out exactly as planned. I have always been interested in exploring failed innovations in order to gain an understanding of the reason for the failures and discovering what lessons we can learn from them.

After investing over 10,000 hours learning how to take care of our patients, there wasn't any time devoted to learning how to take care of ourselves. Using the concept of neuroplasticity and improving overall mindset, our brains can be taught a better way of thinking. It is time to utilize the tools we already have and began the journey to our best lives.
Dr. Morrison is a board certified and fellowship trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. As a physician and surgeon, he has real firsthand experience in the risks and rewards of surgery. “The measure of success in healthcare is not financial, it’s better outcomes for
the people we take care of every day.” Driven by a passion for people, Dr. Morrison has dedicated his entire career to improving the health and well-being of his patients. “Its not just another surgery, this is a real person with responsibilities, goals and dreams”. Even after thousands of surgeries with excellent outcomes, the one person who does not do well leaves him up at night searching for answers of what he could have done different.
Dr. Morrison believes our bodies were created with the ability heal themselves and his role is to aid in this healing process. He invests his time and resources in strategies that help people overcome the circumstances they are facing to not just go through but grow through each situation enabling them to fulfill the purpose they were created for.
