Greetings Members and Friends:
We have an opportunity, once again, to gather in person for this year’s AOAO Annual Fall Meeting at the Omni Louisville in Louisville, KY. The meeting will convene Thursday, October 28th to Saturday, October 30th, 2021. We look forward to seeing you and your families in scenic Louisville where you can experience local culture including bourbon tours at the Woodford, Buffalo Trace or Wild Turkey distilleries as well as many other popular historical tours.
This year’s theme is “Refocus, Revamp, Re-energize for 2021: Where do we go from here?” After a challenging 2020, we need to refocus and re-energize our skills and knowledge in order to provide the highest quality care for our patients. Our educational programs continue to improve and this fall meeting will offer a top-notch CME program. Our dedicated group of moderators, along with the AOAO CME Committee led by Richard Crank, DO, FAOAO, have selected topics for all surgical specialties and provided multiple opportunities for case based discussions. As leaders in our profession, the CME Committee strives to fulfill our knowledge base while offering you up to 36.5 AOA Category 1-A credits at this meeting. And for the first time, we will offer continuing education credits to our allied health providers: Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
Please watch for updates to the meeting information in this Mobile Meeting Guide and don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy fellowship with old and new colleagues and to meet new members of the AOAO. Registrants will also have the opportunity to view the latest products in the exhibit hall and visit with the representatives that help support our educational endeavors. I look forward to seeing you all in Kentucky!
Gregory Hill, DO, FAOAO
