COVID-19 Plan & Protocols

Health & Safety in Louisville

Our priority is your health and safety!

AOAO appreciates the impact that the COVID pandemic has had in the professional and personal lives of our members, meeting attendees, staff, and families.  AOAO will implement and practice the appropriate safety and health protocols for attendees, exhibitors, staff, and guests on-site at the Omni Louisville.

AOAO will continue to monitor the evolving public health guidance from the CDC and requirements from the state and local governments regarding gatherings and will provide regular updates and additional guidance.

If you are unable to travel, we encourage you to register for the on demand content when it becomes available after the meeting.

Meeting Attendance Requirements

If you are due to attend the AOAO Annual Fall Meeting this year to fulfill the bylaws requirement of attending one fall meeting every three years, registering for the on demand content will apply toward your attendance.

Vaccination Request/Negative COVID-19 Test

It is our recommendation, to ensure the safety of all attendees, that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  For those unable to meet the vaccine request, a negative test from within 3 days of arrival using either molecular/PCR or antigen/“rapid” testing will also be acceptable.

Testing On-site

AOAO will offer testing on-site. Please check at registration for an appointment.

Masks

Masks will be highly recommended when social distancing is not practical. Disposable masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the registration desk.

On-Site Health and Safety Measures

Those arriving Wednesday, October 27 will have their name badge delivered to their guest room at the Omni Louisville. For all others, we will have contactless badge pickup at the registration desk. We will have a limited number of computers for on-site registration so we encourage you to register in advance.

Social distancing will not be required. Session rooms and the Exhibit Hall will be set up to accommodate attendees who prefer more physical distance as well as those who prefer to sit closer together.

Session rooms and AV equipment will be disinfected after each session and common areas disinfected continuously.
