Greetings Members and Friends:
We look forward to seeing you and your families at the Annual Fall Meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado, October 24-26, 2019 at the amazing Broadmoor luxury resort. This is a wonderful time to visit Colorado with your family where you can experience the Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, the United States Air Force Academy all while earning CME credit.
The AOAO CME Committee, led by Dennis Blackburn, DO, FAOAO, along with a dedicated group of moderators have developed another outstanding educational program. This year’s theme is “Complications and What We Have Learned From Them”. Lectures will address how to prevent and solve complications among multiple specialties in orthopedic surgery. As leaders in our profession, the CME Committee strives to fortify our knowledge base while offering 22.5 available hours of AOA Category 1-A credits.
I am especially excited about this year's Keynote speaker! Delivered by Rocky Bleier, Vietnam War Veteran and 4-Time NFL Super Bowl Champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers, this keynote will address leadership through teamwork, perserverance and hope. Rocky's presentation will explore both structural and emotional aspects for individuals and organizations to reach their greatest potential.
Watch for updates to meeting information in this Mobile Meeting Guide.Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy fellowship with old and new colleagues and meet new members of the AOAO. Registrants, of course, will also have the opportunity to view the latest products in the exhibit hall and visit with the representatives that help support our educational endeavors.
I look forward to seeing you all in Colorado Springs!
Terrence M. Philbin, DO, FAOAO
