Bio
"Dr. Sean Blake is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand surgery at the St. Francis Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Blake also holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. A graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Dr. Blake received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. In 2007, he completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine training at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also completed his residency, serving as Co-Chief Resident of Orthopedic Surgery. Following that, Dr. Blake completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Recently, he joined Hughston Orthopedic Trauma as a hand surgeon. He also was chosen in the Fall of 2022 to serve as the Site Director at St. Francis-Emory Healthcare for the Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital Orthopedic Residency.
