Thank You for Joining Us for the AOAO Annual Meeting

Thank you for joining us at this year’s Annual Meeting at the beautiful Terranea Oceanfront Resort.  The meeting promises to be a premier learning event in a spectacular setting.  Once again, this meeting confirms our commitment to meet at least annually to improve ourselves and our profession, while having a little fun.

The Terranea Oceanfront Resort will be our home for all educational and social events.  Located on 102 acres of pristine ocean front property with 270 degrees of panoramic ocean views, there are world class accommodations, six restaurants, and 225 fire pits scattered around the resort, as well as a activities for you and your family to enjoy after the scheduled lectures each day.

This year’s program will offer plenty of both academic and social opportunities.  Each day the concurrent didactic sessions offer the latest techniques in all aspects of orthopedic surgery. The moderators have done a great job arranging a cutting edge agenda with top notch speakers.  New this year, we have added an ICD-10 Workshop presented by Karen Zupko and Associates. ICD-10 is looming and who better to introduce the topic than this outstanding and well respected firm. This year’s Keynote speaker is Jim “The Rookie” Morris.   Jim Morris’ Cinderella story is a testament to the power of dreams and their ability to inspire and transform human life.

Please join your AOAO Board of Directors and fellow members as we celebrate the accomplishments of our colleagues during the Thursday afternoon Annual Awards Ceremony. This relatively new format is followed by a cocktail reception and allows our members and guests to enjoy dinner on their own afterwards.

Finally, remember to thank our exhibitors and sponsors. Without them, many of aspects of this Annual Meeting would not be possible.
