Fred McAlpin, III, DO, FAOAO
Program Chair

I would like for each of our members to join me for the 58th Postgraduate Seminar in beautiful Palos Altos Verdes, California at the Terranea Oceanfront Resort from Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 6, 2018.

The Resort is spectacular! I visited this property for the Academy’s 2014 Annual Meeting and am excited to return to the lush 102 acre coastal paradise (including seaside golf course). The views of the pacific are breathtaking at sunset. And, all of this nature is within one hour of Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Disneyland, Santa Monica Pier, Warner Bros., Universal and Sony Studios. Find out more about the resort at www.terranea.com.

This year’s theme is “Orthopedic Techniques - Whats Good, Better, and Best”. The program will address differing orthopedic techniques as well as other topics of interest. The AOAO CME Committee, led by Dennis Blackburn, DO, FAOAO, along with a truly dedicated group of moderators have developed another outstanding educational program. As leaders in our profession, the CME Committee strives to fortify our knowledge base while offering 20 hours of AOA Category 1-A credits. Watch for updated meeting information in this Mobile Meeting Guide.

Don’t miss this opportunity to socialize with and learn from fellow surgeons. Registrants, of course, will also have the opportunity to view the latest products in the exhibit hall and visit with the representatives that help support our educational endeavors. I look forward to seeing you all in California!
